Rodatherm

Clean tech Case Study

Rodatherm is a geothermal energy company generating firm, clean power with waterless, closed-loop systems. As they advanced toward their first pilot plant on the heels of a $38M Series A, they needed a digital presence to match the ambition of their engineering. Our task was to translate deep-earth thermodynamics into a clear, compelling brand experience.

Our Role

Engagement

Communicating breakthrough technology and engineering credibility

Rodatherm’s Waterless Geothermal Systems™ span thermodynamics, drilling engineering, and utility-scale power. We crafted a modular design system to organize this complexity while guiding diverse audiences—from investors to utility partners—to what matters most.

The layout prioritizes clarity, while bringing the closed-loop process to life with custom diagrams and visual punch.

Energy in motion: translating thermodynamics into design

Our visual approach emphasized clarity and minimalism, paired with warm gradients and subsurface motifs. These elements reinforce Rodatherm’s position at the intersection of proven engineering and next-generation energy.

We used technical line illustrations and glowing heat cues to visualize what happens two kilometers underground—turning an invisible process into a story anyone can follow, from liquid phase to vapor phase to power generation.

Building trust through design

To strengthen their brand presence, we aligned Rodatherm’s visuals and copy tone with their core values: precision, proven engineering, and speed to deployment.

Messaging was carefully adjusted to lead with what sets them apart—waterless, fracking-free, and rapidly permitted under existing frameworks—while keeping the site approachable for non-technical stakeholders. Content hierarchy, typography, and whitespace were all leveraged to improve readability and user trust.

Our Role

Rodatherm’s new site reflects the ambition of their technology and the rigor of their engineering team. Our visual system now supports everything from investor decks to permitting conversations and technical one-pagers.
