Biotech Case Study
ChemPartner is a global CRO and CDMO with 20+ years of experience, 2,000+ scientists and sites across China, Europe and the US. Their services span chemistry, biology, DMPK, toxicology and manufacturing, but the old site presented them as a list. Our task was to turn a deep service catalog into one connected path from discovery to IND, and ship it on a fixed date.

Turning a service catalog into a single path
A biotech team rarely needs one ChemPartner service. They need the next one. So we organized the entire site around a seven-phase roadmap from early discovery through IND-enabling development, and gave it the center of the homepage.
Capability pages follow the same logic. Interactive modules reveal detail on hover, so a scientist can scan ten bioprocess capabilities without leaving the page.
Chemistry in motion: designing the discovery-to-IND roadmap
The visual system is restrained by design. A single green does the work of highlighting active states, key numbers and calls to action, held to a small share of any page so hierarchy stays clear. Icons were unified into one grey family and audited into a shared library.
Small molecule and biologic pathways read as two connected but distinct tracks, with a location map and accordion that let visitors find the nearest site in one click.
Building trust through design
ChemPartner’s proof is in the numbers: 400+ clinical drugs advanced, 200+ IND programs supported, 17 drugs on the market. We moved those stats forward and made them typographically heavier so they register on the first scroll.
We also built a custom AI assistant beside site search that answers modality questions in plain language, and gave the marketing team a settings panel to add new answers without a developer. Post-launch, redirects, analytics and load speed were tuned for a global audience.
Our Role
The new chempartner.com reflects the scale of the organization and the connected way its scientists actually work. We designed and built in phases so development could start while design continued, and delivered the full site on the August launch date.
