Off-camera question: “What’s the key to building a resilient team in the creative industry?”
Resilience in design isn’t about toughness; it’s about adaptability and empathy. We’re all artists at heart, but at work, we’re problem-solvers for our clients. It means sometimes kissing goodbye to our beloved concepts for the greater good.
Resilience is about taking feedback, not as a blow, but as a path towards growth. It’s laying our ego aside for collaboration and better solutions. I’ve met a lot of graphic designers that would have been happier humans making art for themselves, rather than for a client.
So, at Wizardly we emphasize resilience – the art of gracefully adapting while staying true to our craft and our clients.”
